Moebius Syndrome is an extremely rare congenital neurological disorder characterized by facial paralysis and the inability to move the eyes from side to side. Limb and chest wall abnormalities sometimes occur with the syndrome. Those with Moebius Syndrome most often are not mentally affected from this disorder. It is named for Paul Jullius Mobius, a neurologist who first described the syndrome in 1888. (extracted from www.manyfacesofmoebiussyndrome.com)
